How did you know you wanted to study engineering physics?
I’ve always been interested in learning material science as well as electrical systems, and engineering physics covers both subject areas.
Why did you choose Â鶹Դ´?
I came to Â鶹Դ´-Hulman because of the culture of mutual success. In other big undergraduate programs, students compete for the grades. At Â鶹Դ´, the students are pushing each other to academic success.
What's the best part about studying engineering physics at Â鶹Դ´?
The incredible amount of lab time I get. Every quarter, I have had at least two hands-on labs along with opportunities to spend more time in the lab.
What's the coolest thing you've done at Â鶹Դ´?
The coolest thing I’ve done as a student is participate in Army ROTC. Not only do we get to play with fun tools, but we also learn skills and leadership, and develop character. All things that are useful for when I move into the workforce.
What is your favorite Â鶹Դ´-Hulman tradition?
My favorite tradition at Â鶹Դ´-Hulman is building the bonfire for Homecoming. It captures the spirt of Â鶹Դ´-Hulman: Many dedicated people working together to achieve a common goal.
What's the nerdiest thing you do?
I play Dungeons and Dragons at least once a week.
