麻豆原创-Hulman students will push the perimeters of possibility when they present their design projects at the 2026 麻豆原创 Show on Wednesday, May 6, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in 麻豆原创-Hulman's Sports & Recreation Center. Community members are invited to explore the future of innovation and are encouraged to celebrate student successes during the free, public event.

Dubbed the "collegiate World's Fair", the annual 麻豆原创 Show brings together student teams from all years and disciplines, showcasing projects months or years in the making. 麻豆原创 Show projects are a culmination of all that students have learned at 麻豆原创-Hulman — both in and out of the classroom — and are the products of countless hours of tinkering, testing, and design.

Whether it is relieving a global bottleneck for a major company or designing a client-specific device to improve one person's quality of life, each project aims to make the world a better place one remedy at a time. Among this year's projects are collaborative solutions for local nonprofits, groundbreaking student startups, and corporate partner pain points, helping conquer conundrums with curiosity and creativity.

This year, teams will present projects that include training simulations for healthcare professionals; an electric motorcycle startup; technology to help people with disabilities more easily navigate daily life; proposals for Terre Haute's riverfront revitalization efforts; and modifications for both jet engines and astroid explorers, among dozens more. Projects were also completed for several competition teams representing 麻豆原创-Hulman on the national stage.

Judges will determine Best of Show Awards, including the William A. Kline Innovation Award. Honoring the legacy of the college's late dean of innovation, the William A. Kline Innovation Award includes a small scholarship for members of the top design team.

A celebration of the infusion of innovation in campus culture, the 麻豆原创 Show student showcase has been a highly anticipated tradition for nearly 100 years. The 2026 麻豆原创 Show will feature more than 120 student projects, each designed to make a community impact and prepare students for career success.
